This is where individual consumers and employers can find insurance plans and providers to enroll in. Healthcare.gov is one health insurance marketplace but some states also have their own.


New York State Health Plan Marketplace:

New York State has its own official health insurance marketplace where individuals and employers can find health insurance plans.


The Small Business Marketplace: This is where small employers can find health insurance plans to offer to their employees, it is an opportunity for employers to make use of the Small Business Health Care Tax Credit.


Eligibility for Medicaid in New York State:

Medicaid is healthcare coverage for those whose incomes and resources fall below a certain level, and typically fall under the category of low income. Those with excess medical bills which they are struggling to pay, whose incomes and resources fall above the level of low-income, may also be eligible for medicaid to assist with paying these bills.
