11/25-11/26 Week in Review

Hello Friends,

Word of the week: Teamwork

We’re wrapping up our first trimester with a souper special event! This week, we served up chili and carrot miso soup at the Broadway Bubble—a perfect partner for spreading warmth and kindness. More than just a laundromat, Broadway Bubble is a true community hub, dedicated to giving back and supporting neighbors. Their mission is to create a welcoming space where people can connect, access resources, and find support.

The fellows and team rolled up their sleeves for a full day of cooking magic—chopping, sautéing, and assembling like pros. They also made personalized kindness notes to hand out alongside the delicious meal.

One memorable moment was when a community member received his kindness note, smiled, and said it was exactly what he needed to hear. He gently tucked it into the inside pocket of his jacket—a small act that will remain a lasting memory.

The event was filled with smiles, warm soup, and generosity. Many people came back for seconds, affirming just how delicious the soup was! We are deeply grateful for our community and for the opportunity to connect and give back in such a meaningful way.

Here’s to teamwork, kindness, and a whole lot of gratitude. Wishing you all a week as warm and wonderful as a bowl of homemade soup!

Have a good weekend,
