2/20-2/24 Week in Review

Hello Friends,

Word of the week:“Patience”

This week, we delved into the virtue of patience, learning its importance through various experiences and activities. From waiting for french fries to cool down to painstakingly removing wires from our boat building project, patience proved to be an invaluable quality.

We kicked off the week with insightful table talk sessions featuring Anna-Stesia and Ravin, two Kingston locals who shared their high school memories, passions, and what they cherish about our community. These conversations reminded us of the beauty of human connections and the value of taking time to truly understand one another.

A highlight of the week was our visit to R & F Paint, where we were treated to a fascinating tour of their facilities. Witnessing the meticulous process of handcrafting paint reinforced the idea that great things truly do take time. We marveled at the vibrant array of colors and found inspiration in the dedication of the artisans behind each batch.

At Hudson River Maritime Museum, we tackled the challenging task of removing wires from our boat construction project. With teamwork and perseverance, we carefully freed the vessel from its temporary constraints, sealing the seams with epoxy for added durability. This hands-on experience taught us the power of patience in achieving our goals, one careful step at a time.

On Wednesday, our fellow Isabella took the initiative to launch an introductory crochet workshop for the community. It was a delightful experience filled with joy and creativity, emphasizing the need for patience when acquiring a new skill. Witnessing Isabella's leadership and willingness to share their expertise was truly inspiring, underscoring the spirit of collaboration and learning that defines our community.

As we wrap up another week of exploration and growth, let's carry the lessons of patience with us. Whether waiting for results to manifest or navigating the complexities of everyday life, may we approach each challenge with grace and resilience.

Wishing you all a restful weekend ahead.

Have a good weekend,
