Word of the Week: Love
Hello Friends,
This week's theme is "Love," and it has beautifully manifested in the collaborative efforts of our fellows and community members. The success of our Community Sew-In event stands as a testament to the profound sense of love that permeated every stitch. Together, we created a captivating community quilt, each square a canvas reflecting cherished moments in the lives of our community members. This masterpiece will be showcased at our upcoming winter expo on December 21st, 4-6pm at 16 Lucas Avenue, promising to be a tapestry of love and shared stories.
Our fellows continued to embody the spirit of love through impactful volunteering at People's Place. Amidst the holiday rush, they generously contributed their time by packing gift bags, bringing comfort and joy during this bustling season. Recognizing the increased demand at People's Place during these times, the fellowship's dedication to spreading love through their efforts was particularly heartening, exemplifying the core values of Place Corps and fostering a sense of community and compassion in every action taken.
Additionally, our partnership with Sky High Farms highlighted the essence of love through a shared meal that not only satisfied our taste buds but also represented diverse family and cultural traditions. The joy and warmth experienced in these moments of collaboration, filled with stories, laughter, and a sense of belonging, added a unique flavor to our week. As we continue to grow together in this meaningful partnership, we look forward to more shared moments and connections.
Wishing you all a week filled with love, warmth, and meaningful connections.
Have a great weekend,
Place Corps Team
