WHAT IS THE KINGSTON FELLOWSHIP?
The Place Corps Kingston Fellowship is a 9 month educational program that helps young adults transition from high school into the adult world by equipping them with the personal, professional, and practical skills to build joyful, sustainable, and enriching lives in the Hudson Valley. It is an opportunity to explore, gain skills, and make steps toward the future.
Place Corps helps pave the way forward, working in partnership with local professionals to offer cross-sector mentorship and local networking to:
Learn valuable practical and personal skills not taught in traditional education
Offer volunteer service and become engaged citizens in local community
Create professional work experience
save and make money
Develop a passion project
Earn college credit
Build sustainable livelihoods and professional next steps in service to their communities
