Application Process

Step 1

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until the program is fully registered. Submit the following; 

  1. Completed application form

  2. A letter of recommendation from a current or former teacher, professor or employer. This letter must be sent directly to info@placecorps.org by your referrals at the time of your application. Please make sure the subject line reads: GROWING RADICAL: Letter of referral_(Name of applicant)

Step 2

Place Corps Director Dawn Breeze will schedule a time to speak on Zoom or Skype. This interview ensures that our program is the right fit and presents an opportunity for you to ask Dawn any questions you might have about the program.

Step 3

After all materials are received and an interview is completed successful applicants will be notified by email. Generally within ten working days of the interview. At this time applicants must complete and return the agreement form, and pay the $2000 deposit or indicate they are applying for need-based financial aid. Applicants applying for financial aid will be provided a form that must be returned to Place Corps in order to determine the scholarship amount. Following the determination an invoice will be sent to applicants indicating their award and requiring a deposit to confirm their acceptance.

 Step 4

Pay the remaining balance of tuition by May 1st, 2020. For registrations made after May 1st, 2020, tuition is due in full at the time of registration.

Step 5

Once the deposit has been received applicants will receive the following forms which must be completed and return by May 1st, 2020:

  1. Medical Form

  2. Travel Information

  3. Resident Questionnaire

The forms can be mailed or scanned and emailed to info@placecorps.org. Please be sure to complete all sections of the forms.
